International Conference on Binh Duong's development towards smart and worth-living city

In the morning of December 8th, at Provincial Convention Exhibition Center, Viet Duc University, Darmstadt Technical University (Federal Republic of Germany), Becamex IDC and Binh Duong Smart City Office co-organized an international workshop on how to develop Binh Duong towards smart and worth-living city. Attending the workshop were Dr. Ha Thuc Vien, Rector of Viet Duc University; Dr. Nguyen Viet Long, Director of Binh Duong Smart City Office; Prof. Hans Joachim Linke, Academic Director of SUD - Darmstatd Technical University; and researchers, scientists. 

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Hoan Vu, Deputy General Director of Becamex IDC, emphasized that as one of the members of "Triple Helix" of Binh Duong Smart City project, Becamex IDC proudly together with Viet Duc University and Darmstadt University of Technology carried out important researches on urban development towards intelligent and good living. The workshop aimed to share research results, introduce further development orientations to the province based on viewpoints of scientific research, as well as listen to relevant practical experiences and development knowledge from international and domestic specialists with the hope of contributing more orientations, rational actions in the near future.

At the workshop, participants made presentations, such as: Assessment of urban development and life quality of inhabitants and development of good living indicators in Binh Duong; Conceptions and experiences from Singapore? What makes a worth-living city; Smart management to live well...
