Irrigation works operate stably and safely

In order to ensure safety for irrigation works before the rainy season in 2022, detect and promptly repair damaged items, provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has just organized an inspection tour of a number of key irrigation, embankment works and drainage technical infrastructure facilities in the province.

Accordingly, the delegation inspected 10 works, including reservoirs, canals and embankments in districts, towns and cities, namely Thu Dau Mot, Thuan An, Ben Cat, North Tan Uyen, Dau Tieng and Bau Bang. For other works, localities organized inspection by themselves and there were reports in writing. As a result, most irrigation works in the province have operated stably and safely. The works managed by the Agricultural Irrigation Stations of Tan Uyen town and North Tan Uyen district are well realizing at  providing water to irrigate the summer-autumn rice crop. But, some irrigations items managed by the State need to be upgraded...
