Japanese businesses invest in cold storage worth $18 million

On Jul 21, the inauguration ceremony of a new cold storage worth $18 million of CLK Cold Storage Co. took place at Tan Dong Hiep B IP (Di An Town). Attendants of the ceremony were Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of PPC; and heads of departments and localities. Reportedly, the CLK was established on the basis of cooperation between COOL JAPAN FUNC Fund and Japanese Logitem Corporation, Japanese Kline Corporation. The cold storage provides temperature management services in a fully form of line-up with Japan's the most advanced technology from -50^oC to +25^oC. 

CLK Co. was established to capture growing demands for enjoying Japanese food culture in Vietnam in the future as well as to enhance the export of local agricultural products to world markets.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem said: "Binh Duong leaders appreciated the investment project of CLK Cold Storage Company. I hope that, with available resources and experiences, the company would operate efficiently and expand investment and business activities in the coming period; simultaneously introduce many more partners, investors, especially Japanese businesses, to Binh Duong investment environment..."
