Participating in the celebration of World Environment Day this year, Binh Duong Water and Environment Joint Stock Company has a booth of organic fertilizer products called Con Voi, from the Solid Waste Treatment Complex of Nam Binh Duong Company. This product is gradually winning the hearts of customers. From domestic waste, through advanced processing technology, waste becomes a valuable resource to create products for clean agriculture that Binh Duong is looking forward to. Elephant fertilizer is being used by many farmers to take care of coffee, pepper, rubber, dragon fruits. In addition to nylon garbage, plastic garbage, solid waste is processed by the company to produce tile products, ceramic tiles, partitions etc. for construction works.

At the booth introducing the technology of making composite materials from fresh coconut fiber and waste plastic, many people visit and appreciate how to do this. According to Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, the use of fresh coconut fiber and nylon bags - waste materials, made into composites used in the construction industry, interior materials and furniture. It is a very new and necessary technology for environmental protection. This technology solves the problem of byproducts from fresh coconuts, as well as waste nylon bags, which reduces the cost of treating the environment. This technology will bring many economic benefits, helping farmers gain more income from coconut trees.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Standing Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that awareness of the problem of increasing pollution caused by solid waste, plastic waste, throughout Binh Duong province, many solutions have been implemented to increase the rate of waste collection and treatment. Typically, the province has approved the master plan for solid waste management and treatment in Binh Duong province up to 2030, approving the project on consolidation of the solid waste management system in the province; Issue regulations on solid waste management in the province.
