July 2024 sees no new facilities causing environmental pollution

According to a report from provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment, in July 2024, no new facilities causing environmental pollution emerged and 100% of severely polluting facilities were addressed.

In July, provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment announced the actual results of waste treatment projects during the trial operation phase of 9 facilities; announced automatic monitoring results that continuously exceed environmental technical regulations from 2 enterprises and required them with improvement under regulations, overcame shortcomings of the automatic monitoring system for 30 enterprises; gave a notice of fee payment for 237 establishments with wastewater flow of 20m3/day or more.

As planned, in August 2024, provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment will further set up a comprehensive environmental protection project for the water of rivers and canals in the province for the 2024-2030 period; organize selection for contractors and sign contracts to implement the package for the development of the Binh Duong Green Book 2024...
