Early May 20, the Steering Committee of Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city’s Workers' Month held a dialogue between the city's leaders, trade unionists and workers.
At the dialogue, trade unionists, workers spoke on issues related to the situation of life, employment, security and order; the implementation of regimes and policies in the field of labor, social insurance, education... for workers. Their suggestions and recommendations were answered, explained and guided concretely by leaders of the city’s specialized departments and sectors.
The dialogue aimed at contributing to renewing the leadership method of all- level authorities, strengthening the close relationship between the Party and government, trade unionists and workers while promptly detecting difficulties at the grassroots level to direct the settlement, supplement and adjustment of inappropriate guidelines, policies and regulations.
On this occasion, the Steering Board of TDM city’s Workers' Month awarded 15 gifts worth VND 500,000 in cash each together with necessities to workers with extremely difficult circumstances; organized a "Zero dong” market-day, giving 200 gifts worth VND 300,000 each, comprising of necessities, for difficult workers from the support of grassroots trade unions in the administrative and non-business sector of the ward.
