On October 25, Thuan An city’s Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, in collaboration with the city’s Department of Education and Training, organized the 2024 Public Forum on Education, with the theme of "Annual first grade enrollment work in Thuan An city”. More than 250 residents, parents and principles of primary schools in the city attended the forum.
Over the past time, the city paid attention to education, with continuous efforts to enhance quality, innovate activities and provide students with diverse opportunities for exploration, engagement and creativity to support comprehensive development. The annual Grade 1 enrollment process has received special attention, ensuring timely organization, safety and order, gaining strong support from parents.
For the 2024-2025 school year, the city enrolled over 10,182 students in Grade 1, organized 222 classes in primary schools throughout the city.
During the forum, delegates provided various suggestions and recommendations, including upgrading school facilities, especially restrooms; implementing traffic safety measures to reduce congestion during peak hours at schools; supporting the temporary residence registration process for migrant families so their children can attend schools...
Representatives from the city’s Department of Education and Training addressed key concerns raised by the local residents. For issues beyond the department’s authority, they will be summarized and submitted to higher authorities to respond to the local people as soon as possible.
