Members of local Cooperative Alliance’s new executive board.

The provincial Cooperative Alliance officially on July 2 opened its 4th congress for 2010-2015 term with the participation of Nguyen Tien Quan, chairman of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, Le Thanh Cung, vice standing chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

Addressing the congress, Nguyen Tien Quan highly valued achievements done by local cooperative alliance and cooperatives and affirming that ‘Cooperatives contribute to implement socio-economic programs, placing jobs for tens of thousand of laborers, helping excel poverty reduction program building new life in residential areas. The achievements are premises for its renewal and development in the coming time’.

Delegates discussed and ratified documents of the 4th congress with the spirit of renewal, development, integration and operational efficiency enhancement.

The participating deputies selected 33 members for the new executive board, chaired by Bui Le Huong, chairman of the local Cooperative Alliance.
