Local industrial production value surges 17.5% in the first 10 months

In the first 10 months of this year, the local industrial production value was estimated at VND97,080.8bil, a 17.5% rise from the same period last year. Of this, domestic economic sector reached VND31,641.5bil, an 18.4% rise whilst foreign economic sector won VND65,439.3bil, up 17% from the same period last year.

Till early the 4th quarter of this year, the local industrial production value faced difficulties, despite a strong decrease on inflation. However, thanks to the provincial party committee’s instruction and management, businesses’ obstacles were solved timely.

However, some businesses are in shortage of human resources. Small and medium businesses relating to sectors of furniture, cashew processing, building material, steel and so on are forced to transfer signed contracts and factories, so consumption output remains low.
