The provincial leaders yesterday paid a congratulation visit to local Buddhism Society on the 2555th Buddhism birthday. The provincial People’s Council chairman Vu Minh Sang highlighted the society’s done achievements, especially success of 2011 national Buddhism Congress. The provincial Buddhism Society has always contributed to local common development in combination with many charity activities. Sang expressed his belief that the society would keep upholding its done results and developing along to local growth.

On behalf of the provincial Buddhism Society, vice standing head of the society superior Buddhist monk Thich Hue Thong expressed his profound thanks to local administration’s attention.

Also the same day, the society held a program to welcome the Buddhism birthday including activities of parade, music show. The Buddhism birthday’s official program will take place at the provincial Buddhism culture center on May 17.
