Inspections prompts for administrative sanction of VND 28 billion

Early July 30, Binh Duong provincial Inspection organized its task assigning meeting for Q2 while partially summing up activities in H1 2024.

In H1 2024, the inspection agency conducted 54 sessions of administrative inspection and 400 of sectional inspection, leading to the request for recovery of VND 646 million to the State Budget, administrative sanction on 12 organizations and 10 individuals for their breaches, and issuing of administrative sanction totally at VND 28 billion. As for citizen reception and resolutions of annunciation and appeals, 1,808 citizen reception sessions were conducted to receive 1,768 related to 1,676 cases. Approximately 937 out of 977 petitions (at 96%) were resolved.

At the conference, Mr. Bui Duy Hien, Chief Inspector of the province, proposed that inspections at all levels need to actively review, timely and effectively implement, focus on and prioritize inspections according to the approved plan to ensure the set deadlines. Inspections at all levels should advise leaders at the same level to perform well in receiving citizens, resolving letters, complaints, and denunciations from the beginning, without affecting the security and order situation in the area.
