Update: 02-11-2024 | 14:19:13

On November 1, a delegation of the People’s Councils of the province, Ben Cat city, Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city and Bau Bang district held meetings with voters in Ben Cat city’s My Phuoc, An Tay and Chanh Phu Hoa wards, TDM city’s Phu My ward and Bau Bang district’s Long Nguyen commune ahead of the year-end 2024 regular session.

At these meetings, the local voters were updated on the activities of People’s Council representatives and briefed on the economic, social, defense, and security situation in the province and localities over the past 10 months. They were also informed of the proposed contents for the upcoming session.

After hearing these reports, the local voters raised concerns and recommendations on various community issues, including the need to enhance environmental sanitation measures and promptly address the situation of unregulated residential areas.

The local voters also urged authorities to repair and upgrade roads, strengthen urban rejuvenation and eliminate illegal advertisements. They emphasized the need for comprehensive public awareness of the Land Law 2024 to ensure that citizens are informed and compliant. Additionally, they called for increased investment in school facilities and equipment, construction of on-site kitchens to facilitate boarding classes for students while asking for the province to  address shortages in medical supplies and equipment at healthcare facilities. They also requested expedited construction to open the 1,500-bed hospital and suggested that certain healthcare staff should improve their service attitude.

The local leaders responded directly to these concerns during the meetings. Deputies of the People’s Committees of the province, Ben Cat city, Thu Dau Mot city and Bau Bang district took note of and addressed issues within their competence. For concerns outside their competence, they committed to forwarding them to relevant agencies for resolution.
