Since early this year, Di An city’s Inspectorate has consistently conducted weekly public meetings with leaders of the city’s Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee to promptly address residents' concerns and petitions, contributing to creating high consensus for the city’s socio-economic development policies.
In the first nine months of 2024, leaders of Di An city’s Party Committee, People’s Committee and relevant departments held 319 public meetings, with 658 attendants. Key issues raised by citizens included complaints about compensation for land clearance, allocation of resettlement land, issuance of land-use rights certificates and concerns over environmental pollution. Additionally, the city’s Inspectorate advised Chairman of the city’s People’s Committee on maintaining dialogues and meetings with complainants and residents affected by land requisition for various projects, thereby providing timely responses to questions and resolving complaints. The city’s Inspectorate also advised Chairman of the city’s People's Committee on organizing 38 meetings to engage in dialogue with complainants before issuing complaint resolution decisions, resulting in 6 withdrawing their complaints.
Regarding inspection work, Di An city’s Inspectorate effectively implemented its 2024 inspection plan in compliance with regulations. It proactively conducted surveys to establish inspection teams and carried out inspection tours under the approved plan. Organizations and individuals fully and seriously adhered to recommendations and conclusions of the city’s Inspectorate.
