Local People’s Council’s deputies meet with voters prior to the 8th provincial People’s Council’s 9th session

At the meeting, voters heard about some results of local socio-economic and national defense and security development in the past nine months of this year as well as plans for the 3 remaining months of this year, contents of the 9th session of the 8th provincial People’s Council and results of Thu Dau Mot city People’s Council’s operation in 2013 and orientations and missions for 2014 and settlements in voters’ petitions and many more.

At the conference, voters petitioned many issues of setting up unprompted markets, environmental pollution, spreading epidemic diseases, effectively exploiting public land areas, degrading some routes and so on.

The provincial and Thu Dau Mot city People’s Council deputies replied voters’ queries and petitions and pledged to send the remaining problems to functional agencies for settlement.

Also the same day, the provincial and Tan Uyen district People’s Council deputy delegations paid a meeting with voters of communes of Thuong Tan, Tan My, Lac An, Thanh Phuoc and Khanh Binh. At the meeting, voters reflected problems of environmental pollution, degradation of DT746 road, polluted water sources caused by breeding facilities, prolonged land disputes, price hike of agricultural materials as well as shortage of lighting system at some routes in Thanh Phuoc commune.

Also the same day, the provincial and Dau Tieng district People’s Council deputy delegations met with voters of Thanh Tuyen, Dinh An and An Lap communes. On the occasion of the meeting, Thanh Tuyen commune-based voters suggested functional agencies to soon complete the DT744 road project, allowances on social and health insurance, procedure reform of health check-up and hospital fee payment.

Meanwhile, voters in An Lap commune petitioned to open a bus route from An Lap to Dau Tieng township to help local people enjoy conveniences on transport.

Through voters’ opinions, the provincial and district People’s Council deputies replied some petitions and pledged to submit the remaining issues to competent agencies.
