Local propaganda-education sector well completes tasks

On the afternoon of January 4, provincial Party Committee's Commission for Propaganda and Education held a conference to summarize propaganda work in 2023 and deploy tasks in 2024. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Commission for Propaganda and Education chaired the conference, in attendance of Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Pernament Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People's Council.

In 2023, as the standing agency of provincial Steering Committee for foreign information work, provincial Party Committee's Commission for Propaganda and Education well performed the organization and coordination between members of the Steering Committee and between the Steering Committee,  departments, sectors and localities to carry out foreign information work under the assigned functions and tasks. In addition, provincial Party Committee's Commission for Propaganda and Education was proactive to grasps events, promptly orienting public opinions, responding to requests quickly, accurately, convincingly, with key points, ensuring the leadership of the Party, consensus in society. Notably, provincial Party Committee's Commission for Propaganda and Education and relevant sectors advised provincial Party Committee on the policy of increasing the scale of the Nguyen Van Tiet Press Award to improve the quality of journalistic works to serve the local propaganda while improving the quality of journalistic works representing the province at press competitions and awards launched by the Government...

Speaking at the conference, Mrs. Hanh emphasized that in 2024, the province’s propaganda system, especially the propaganda block, needs to make efforts in propagandizing, especially the Resolution of the 11^th provincial Party Congress; advise provincial Party Standing Committee on the plan to study and follow Uncle Ho and the 2024 topic associated with the implementation of the Politburo ‘s Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW on "Continuing acceleration of studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" in the province; advise provincial Party Standing Committee on effectively deploying a project "Building core forces and equipment for Steering Committee 35 forces at all levels". Especially, it is necessary for the sector to implement a project to innovate propaganda, political and ideological education for workers... in 2024.

On this occasion, provincial Party Committee's Commission for Propaganda and Education received the certificate of merit from the Central Propaganda-Education Commission for its outstanding achievements in 5 years of implementing the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against wrong views, hostile forces and the certificate of merit for outstanding achievements in journalism in 2023.
