Accordingly, November 9 will be observed as Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam under the theme of “All people build, implement and defend the Constitution for a strong nation with wealthy people in a fair, democratic and civilized society”.

Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam 2013 will be held nationwide to honour the Constitution and laws as well as to educate the public on obedience to the law.   

The Law Day also aims to highlight the role of the Constitution and laws in state management and social life, the basic contents of the 1992 constitutional revision, and important laws to be considered and approved at the upcoming National Assembly session.

According to plans of the provincial People’s Committee, as for the provincial level, departments, agencies, mass bodies, businesses will hold a serious implementation of the law day and strive to reach high results and simultaneously cooperate closely with relevant agencies, units to finish the set goals of disseminating, educating widely regulations of the Constitution, laws on State management and social living.

Meanwhile, at district level, People’s Committee at the district level will base on real situation of every locality to map out action plans and steer communal and ward levels to implement the event. Afterwards, assessments and reports of results will be sent to the provincial Justice Department prior to Nov. 20, 2013 for submitting to the Ministry of Justice.
