Many individuals awarded in the festival of people’s grand unity

In the morning of November 12, Doi Soi hamlet of An Tay commune in Ben Cat town held the People’s Grand Unity. Attending the event was Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member, Head of the provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee.

At the ceremony, the delegates reviewed the 91st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee from November 18, 1930 to November 18, 2021 while listening to reports on the situation of the great national unity and the results of the implementation of patriotic campaigns and movements in the residential community in 2021.

In the past year, the movement of all people in unity to build a cultural life at Dong Soi hamlet has had far-reaching effects on many subjects and classes of people. At Doi Soi hamlet, 100% of households have registered as a cultural families. According to the assessment, 534 out of 546 households have achieved the title of cultural families. During the year, the hamlet has also coordinated with departments, branches and unions to extract funds to visit and give gifts to policy beneficiaries, orphans, disabled people, and poor households. In addition, the hamlet has also actively mobilized the entire population to participate in crime prevention, campaigning for family registration.

At the festival, leaders of the province, Ben Cat town, and An Tay commune praised the achievements of Doong Soi hamlet in implementing patriotic campaigns and movements to encourage the people to continue implementing patriotic emulation movements and continue to effectively carry out the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic in the area.

On the occasion, the Festival Organizing Committee presented 10 gifts from the province while giving 7 gifts from Ben Cat town. An Tay commune leaders gave 15 gifts to disadvantaged households in the hamlet. The festival organizing committee also praised and rewarded 11 families who won the titles of cultural families for 3 consecutive years. It commended 2 collectives and 19 individuals who made many contributions to the local epidemic prevention and control.
