Le Thanh Cung, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee just chaired a meeting to ratify a master plan on solving environmental troubles for the 2010-2020 period and an action plan on bio-diversification through 2015 and a vision to 2020. Addressing the meeting, the vice chairman highly valued the master plan and asked to add problems of flooding and radiation into the master plan.

Based on reality of local socio-economic development, troubles on environment could happen in transport, chemical business and production, waste transport and treatment as well as operations of fuel usage and preservation and forest planting and exploitation. Therefore, building a plan on solving environmental troubles is very essential to minimize impacts on community and environment, ensuring a sustainable development for the province.

The meeting also approved an action plan on bio-diversification to assure ecological balance in attachment to socio-economic development in the trend of modern industry and sustainable urban area.
