Media cooperation program contributes to effectively promoting Binh Duong's image to domestic and international audiences

Morning of February 8, at the Convention and Exhibition Center of Binh Duong province, a conference was held to summarize the media cooperation program in 2022 and to implement the cooperation program in 2023. Attending the event was Nguyen Hoang Thao - Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Truong Thi Bich Hanh - Standing Member and Head of the Propaganda Department of the provincial Party Committee, and representatives of 37 press agencies outside the province.

In 2022, press agencies outside the province that have signed a media cooperation program have published 7,829 news articles, reports of rich and attractive content reflecting on the construction of the Party and political system, administrative reforms, economic development, culture - society, defense - security and major political, current and international events taking place in the province.

The press agencies outside the province have also promptly reported the outstanding issues and limitations in the management and administration of functional sectors and localities and units, signs of law violations on the aspects; thereby helping the leaders of the province, branches and localities to promptly correct and direct the handling along with the information on the province's views, policies, direction and handling of the cases that are recognized by the public.

In order to strengthen propaganda about Binh Duong province on the mass media outside the province, the provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Division, Binh Duong Department of Information and Communication and press agencies outside the province jointly discussed to agree on the content and sign the Communication Cooperation Program in 2023. Accordingly, the communication cooperation between Binh Duong province and the press agencies is implemented on the basis of the provisions of the law and in accordance with the law regarding the principles and purposes of the press agencies and the actual conditions of Binh Duong province, in the spirit of trust, responsibility and mutual support in the performance of assigned political tasks. Information published on publications and communication channels of press agencies about Binh Duong must be timely, accurate, objective and comprehensive in a constructive spirit, for the common development of the province.

Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Hoang Thao highly appreciated the results of media cooperation of press agencies in 2022; the opinions of representatives of press agencies help the communication and promotion of Binh Duong's image to be more and more effective.

Nguyen Hoang Thao emphasized that Binh Duong always creates conditions anytime and anywhere for press agencies inside and outside the province to work best in a healthy media environment for people to understand Binh Duong; thereby, continuing to propagate and promote the image of Binh Duong province to a large number of people in the country and international friends, contributing to creating positive and effective impacts in the development of the province.
