At the meeting, the delegates reviewed the tradition and proud history of the people and army in the former Phuoc Thanh Province.To satisfy the need of revolutionary cause, in June 1961, Regional Committee of the East decided to dissolve Thu Bein Province to reestablish 3 provinces of Bien Hoa, Thu Dau Mot, and Phuoc Thanh.Ever since its establishment, Phuoc Thanh Provincial Party Committee has re-inforced to carry out revolutionary movements against the US Army to gain various success.The Phuoc Thanh Victory on June 17, 1961 was encouraging to the people and the army in the South and D Warbase, marking the growth of main armed force and local forces.Addressing the meeting, Mr. Huynh Van Nhi shared the challenges the leaders, soldiers and the people are facing in the time of Phuoc Thanh Province and was proud for the merit victories of our forces in the resistance wars.Reported by Kim Tuyen – Translated by Vi Bao
