Meetings held in localitíe to celebrate 75 years of Invalids and Martyrs' Day

On July 25, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Cat Town held a meeting to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 to July 27, 2022). Attending the meeting was Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member, Head of the provincial Committee for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of the provincial Committee of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front.

Over the years, the town has organized many practical activities of donating houses of gratitude, building gratitude fund, finding red addresses etc. to bring about practical effects. Only from 2017, the town has built 23 gratitude houses and repaired 25 gratitude houses for policy beneficiaries and people with a total amount of VND 2 billion 920 million. At the meeting, the town launched a support for the gratitude fund. As a result, businesses and individuals have supported the fund with an amount of more than VND 1.2 billion.

On the occasion, the People's Committee of Ben Cat town honored households with the title of "Model Citizen", "Exemplar Revolutionary Family", and collectives who have made great contributions to the gratitude movement in the town for the past 5 years and recognized communes and wards do well in the work of war invalids - martyrs and people with meritorious services.

On the same day, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Uyen town held a meeting to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 to July 27, 2022). Attending the meeting was Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Standing Member of provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Mr. Vo Van Ba, Standing Member, Head of the Internal Affairs Department of the provincial Party Committee

Tan Uyen town currently has 4,610 policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services. The town has mobilized organizations and individuals to take care of the heroic mother for life with a monthly support of VND 1 - 2 million a person with free treatment. From 2017, the town has built and awarded 10 gratitude houses with the amount of VND 1.6 billion, repaired 20 gratitude houses with the amount of VND 800 million.

At the meeting, the town gave 5 gifts to 5 heroic Vietnamese mothers, totaling VND 7.5 million.
