May 30, Provincial People’s Committee held a ceremony to kick up one month of actions for children in 2012 at the venue of Provincial Children House.Attending the ceremony were officials of departments, sectors, and agencies working in children caring authorities and 120 children representing over 400 children in secondary schools across the province.The month from June 1 to 30 under theme of “a society without violence and abuses of children” is projected to transform awareness and prompt sectors, agencies, parents, and the whole society to take more care of the children. For the month, objectives of national program of children protection will come into practice for the period of 2011-2015, creating friendly and legal environment for children.On the occasion, Pepsico has sponsored 600 gift packages at the cost of VND 20 million while Dutch Lady Vietnam presented 25 boxes of milk and 120 gift packages.Reported by Minh Hieu – Translated by Vi Bao
