More mid-autumn festival gifts given to children in Covid-19 quarantine treatment areas

On September 20, Binh Duong provincial Red Cross coordinated with the Emulation Block No. 7 of Binh Duong province under local Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations and associations to organize a visit and exchange meeting to give away mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children in quarantine areas in the province.

Attending the event was Ms. Tran Thi Kim Lan, Deputy Chairwoman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee,  Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of the provincial Red Cross and representatives of branches, associations, and unions of the province and localities. In order to bring the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere to children in quarantine areas in the province, the delegation visited and gave gifts directly to children in quarantine at Vi Hao Company in Thai Hoa ward of Tan Uyen town and at the provincial School of Politics in Thu Dau Mot city. In addition to the above two locatins, the Red Cross also distributed moon cakes to localities to promptly deliver to children in the areas. The total number of mooncakes that the provincial Red Cross has coordinated and distributed to children in quarantine areas during the day is 2,150 pieces, of which, 1,100 mooncakes in Tan Uyen town, 500 in Thu Dau Mot city, 400 in Phu Giao district and 150 in Bac Tan Uyen district. The number of cakes is offered by the provincial Red Cross calling for donation from Kinh Do Company and benefactors.

In the afternoon of September 20, a volunteer group of Oppo Company in the Southeast region of Vietnam coordinated with the provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Division to organize Mid-Autumn Festival gifts for children in some quarantine and patient treatment areas in the province. The delegation directly gave gifts to children in the lockdown area of ​​Hoa Loi ward, Field Hospital No. 5 in Ben Cat town,  and Phu Loi ward in Thu Dau Mot city.  The remaining gifts have been delivered to localities in the province to promptly give to the children. It is known that on this occasion, the group gave a total of 5,000 gifts; each gift in addition to moon cakes also includes candy, milk, and lanterns.
