According to Mr. Truong Nhat Nam, official of provincial Market Management Department, selling of foreign cigarettes in Vietnamese market must comply with strict regulations in order to protect consumers and producers. Therefore, illegal trading and transporting of smuggled foreign cigarettes of unknown origin and without required licenses would be seized and handled according to laws.
