More than 4,000 rooftop solar power projects implemented

On April 5, Binh Duong Power Company said that by the end of March 2022, the province had 4,088 rooftop solar power projects including 2,794 domestic customers and 1,294 non-living customers with a total installed capacity of 785,146 MWp.

The total output of electricity generated to the grid by March 2022 is 202 million kWh. As of March 2022, it is estimated that commercial power output is 3,650 million kWh, reaching 24.09% of the plan of Southern Power Corporation. It is expected that in 2022, the production will reach more than 15.15 billion kWh, of which electricity output for industry will increase by 5.88% to account for 77.3%. The whole province has saved 75.3 million kWh of electricity, reaching 2.06% of commercial electricity output.
