National high school exam 2016: All preparations are completed

On Jul 1^st, all 12-grade students will take the national high school exam 2016. At Binh Duong province competition cluster (No. 54), the chairing unit, provincial Department of Education – Training, and related agencies have completed all necessary conditions for the exam.

In the national high school exam 2016, Binh Duong province competition cluster will be chaired by HCMC University of Economics and Law in collaboration with Department of Education and Training, and Thu Dau Mot University. The three units devised a plan for organizing the national high school exam in Binh Duong with the motto "serious, effective, safe and economical”. Department of Education and Training disseminated regulations of the national high school exam and university, college admission in 2016 to high schools, continuing education centers; regulations, professional tasks to units registering for the exam; gave trainings of enrollment software. The department also coordinated with the chairing unit to prepare material facilities for 14 testing locations, mainly junior high schools, high schools in TDM City, Thuan An Town. According to Mr. Le Nhat Nam, Deputy Director of Department of Education and Training, this year, the province has 9,064 contestants. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Rector of HCMC University of Economics – Law, said competition cluster No. 54 had actively implemented the set plan. Agencies, sectors have supported the preparation work, and organized meetings to solve related works. The university cooperated with departments and Thu Dau Mot University to organize 3 training sessions for each subject. HCMC University of Economics – Law hopes heads of secondary schools, high schools having assigned invigilators and the two universities would keep reminding staff to understanding thoroughly training contents.

This year, MOET is innovating the national high school exam. This exam result will be the foundation for high school graduation and university, college admission. The national high school exam must be carried out seriously, thoroughly. Some exam subjects will have changes in testing time. Contestants and invigilators must comply with regulations on things are and are not allowed to carry into exam rooms, for example, mobile phones are not allowed to carry into exam rooms.

It can be said, all preparations for the national high school exam 2016 in Binh Duong are completed. Department of Education – Training directed high schools to assign school administrators, head teachers, Youth Union branches to accompany contestants to testing locations. Schools also listed students as policy beneficiaries, poor family’s children to pick up these contestants to testing locations by bus. Representative boards of parents, study promotion associations, businesses, People’s Committee of localities… will also join hands to support contestants during the exam.
