Nearly 20 universities attend 10th WTA University Presidents’ Forum

The 10^th WTA University Presidents’ Forum took place at Eastern International University (EIU) on the afternoon of October 11. The event was participated by Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with presidents and representatives of 19 universities across the world.

With the theme of “Smart Co-prosperity Strategy between University and Government”, the forum discussed strategies to seek feasible measures for universities to get deeper and more effective integration. Addressing the event, Nguyen Van Phuc, President of EIU said that he was honored to welcome heads of universities from WTA member states. Binh Duong has focused on smart city development with the collaboration of three significant factors, namely the government, businesses and universities, in which the role of universities and interaction with the government are very vital…Hence, he wanted that the forum will put forward useful solutions to the co-prosperity between universities and the city government.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on collaboration in education and training was also signed by universities in the WTA community at the forum.
