Needy people under free medical check-up

Provincial Red Cross Society, on June 7, coordinated with sectors, departments, mass organizations and Medic Binh Duong General Hospital to visit, provide free medical check-up, medicine and gifts for elderly people, poor households and humanitarian addresses in North Tan Uyen district.

On this occasion, provincial Red Cross Society donated the support of the first half of 2020 to 186 humanitarian addresses with VND1.8million and a gift worth VND100,000 each. Medic Binh Duong General Hospital also provided free medical check-up for the local elderly and poor people. In addition, they were given gifts and medicine worth more than VND80million.

This was one of practical activities in response to the Humanitarian Month 2020 in association with the campaign of “Each organization, individual should stick to a humanitarian address” launched by provincial Red Cross Societies at all levels with a total expense of more than VND433million.
