North Tan Uyen, Bau Bang mark 40th anniversary of national liberation day, 1st anniversary of establishment

Early April 1, North Tan Uyen district held a get-together to mark the 40^th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975-April 30, 2015) and the 1^st anniversary of its establishment (April 1, 2014-April 1, 2015), in attendance of Pham Van Canh, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council.

In his speech, Nguyen Huu Loc, Secretary of North Tan Uyen district reviewed the historical significance of the April 30 victory while highlighting achievements in socio-economic development, political system construction done by the district since being established and some great orientations in the coming time.

Mr.Loc stressed that the district’s Party Committee in the 2015-2020 tenure would further improve the Party leadership and fighting capacity, build up a pure and strong political system; uphold the strength of the national great unity bloc; mobilize all resources to carry out the new rural construction program; enhance the spiritual and material lives of the local people…., creating a foundation for the locality to soon become an ecological urban area of Binh Duong New City.

On behalf of provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, Fatherland Front Committee, Mr.Canh acknowledged and praised achievements done by North Tan Uyen district last year, contributing to the province’s development. He believed that the district’s Party Committee, government and people would further unite, overcome difficulties to successfully carry out the resolution of the 11th Party Central Committee, strive to build up a more prosperous and beautiful locality.

*The same day, Bau Bang district grandly held a ceremony to mark the first anniversary of its establishment.

Nguyen Van Minh, Chairman of the district’s People’s Committee said that thanks to a high consensus among the local Party Committee, government and people, the district obtained encouraging achievements over the past time.

Although being a newly-established locality, Bau Bang has reached a synchronous investment in infrastructure. The district is also now home to an industrial and urban park of 2,166 hectares and this is seen an ideal destination for investors. In the coming time, the district will strive to increase people’s income, impulse the development of trade-service facilities…, step by step developing it into a locality with strong development in industrial manufacture.

After its one-year construction and development, Bau Bang district has reached an industrial proportion accounting for 54.4% of the local economic structure. The district’s State budget collection last year was estimated at VND484bln.
