North Tan Uyen District commences project to welcome Provincial Party Congress 2020 - 2025

On October 11, People's Committee of North Tan Uyen district solemnly held groundbreaking ceremony of a project building road from Tan Thanh to Tam Lap bridge (Tan Dinh commune), belonging to North Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang avenue.  This is a key project that will be a driving force for the socio-economic development of this area and welcomes the 11th Provincial Party Congress 2020-2025.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were Tran Van Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial National Assembly delegation; Tran Thanh Liem, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; Vo Van Minh, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council; Mai Hung Dung, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thanh Truc, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, former leaders of the province and leaders of departments, branches, localities, construction units.

The project has 6 traffic lanes, length of 9.5 km; invests in drainage, greenery, lighting systems etc. with a total investment of VND 617 billion, of which construction and installation bidding package has an investment of VND 554 billion.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Thanh Truc emphasized, this was a traffic infrastructure project with a significant role, creating a connection between districts of North Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang, connecting traffic with major routes, such as DT746, DT741, DT750, DH502. The project aims to improve the efficiency of exploitation and serve people's demand for traveling and transporting goods in the region, arouse potential and motivate socio-economic development of North Tan Uyen district in particular and Binh Duong province in general. Additionally, the completed project will step by step complete transport infrastructure system of the district in accordance with the planning orientation. Therefore, Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee selected the North Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang avenue project as the key project of the province to welcome the 11th Provincial Party Congress tenure 2020 - 2025.
