Online conference to review 2021-2022 school year, deploy tasks for 2022-2023 school year held

Early August 12, the Ministry of Education and Training held an online conference to review the 2021-2022 school year and deploy tasks for the 2022-2023 school year. Attending the event were Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial Department of Education and Training and representatives of districts, towns and cities in the province.

The 2021-2022 academic year was the second year the education sector implemented the 2018 general education program. However, the Covid-19 pandemic re-emerged with complicated developments, affecting the sector's activities. In the face of the situation, the education sector made great efforts to come up with many flexible and creative solutions, successfully realizing the dual goals of preventing the pandemic and completing the school year's tasks at the requirements of innovation and quality assurance of education and training. Speaking at the conference, Dr. Nguyen Thi Nhat Hang, Director of Binh Duong provincial Department of Education and Training frankly acknowledged and pointed out difficulties that the local education sector is facing. Binh Duong province proposed the Government and the Ministry of Home Affairs to have specific policies to attract art teachers at the needs of teachers for the 2018 general education program. On the other hand, the recognition of national standard schools should have specific regulations for fast-growing industrial localities...

In the 2022-2023 school year, the Ministry of Education and Training defines the school year's theme as "Unity, efforts to overcome difficulties, consolidate and improve the quality of education and training activities".
