Tan Uyen town’s Red Cross Society has just coordinated with a delegation of physicians from HCM City Post Office Hospital and Minh Tam Charity Society under HCM city’s Sponsoring Association for Poor Patients to give free eye check-ups for 132 local poor patients.
After being checked medically, there were 57 with indication for surgery. It is known that the program has total expenses of more than VND170million. This is one of practical activities done by the town’s Red Cross Society in response to the Humanitarian Month 2020.
