Over 3 million domestic and international payment cards active in the province

The Binh Duong Branch State Bank of Vietnam said that the number of cards issued for domestic and international payments in the province continued to increase.

Up to now, credit institutions have issued and activated a total of 3,048,160 cards. Accordingly, there are 37 out of 43 banking units that apply remote identification and authentication via the internet (eKYC) to customers who open accounts and conduct electronic transactions. All 43 units providing non-cash payment services via QR Code to stand at 42 units to provide digital banking services or Digital Banking. The application of digitization and transfer technology for digital transformation has been bringing great benefits to organizations in the banking and finance sectors.
