Over 620 Tet gifts donated to social policy beneficiary families

From now to the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2018, the People’s Committee of Chanh Nghia ward in TDM city will offer 621 Tet gifts worth VND150,000-VND300,000 each to poor and policy beneficiary households, lonely elderly people and street children.

It is known that the above gifts are worth nearly VND200million, funded by the local donors. Bui Thi Kim Xuan, Chairwoman of the ward’s People’s Committee said that from many different sources, the whole ward presented 1,854 gifts to poor and policy beneficiary households. Among them, 393 were for policy beneficiary households, 153 for poor households, 36 for near-poor households, 1,262 for needy children and lonely elderly people.
