In May 2016, Binh Duong province saved more than 21.51 million kWh of electricity, accounting for 2.86% of the commercial electricity. Of that amount, State agencies and offices saved 574,441 kWh of electricity; the public lighting sector, 218,800 kWh of electricity; and households, more than 9.07 million kWh of electricity.
Thus, the province’s total output of electricity saved in the five months of the year was more than 98.55 million kWh of electricity, or 2.85% of the commercial electricity. Of that amount, State agencies and offices saved more than 2.98 million kWh of electricity; the public lighting sector, more than 1.19 million kWh of electricity; and households, more than 39.35 million kWh of electricity.
Also during the period, the province’s output of commercial electricity reached more than 3.84 billion kWh of electricity, up 13.32% compared to the corresponding period last year. Of that amount, more than 2.94 billion kWh of electricity was supplied to the industrial sector.
In addition, the province’s electricity sector installed additional 12,228 galvanometers, bringing the total number of galvanometers here so far to 394,023. There are now 99.98% of the local households in use of electricity.
