Over VND 196 billion preserved for new rural construction in Phu Giao district

Continuing to implement the National Target Program on building a new rural area, the People's Committee of Phu Giao district and the district Steering Committee for New Rural Areas directed the communes to strengthen the propaganda and mobilization of the people to actively join hands in building a new countryside according to the set targets.

Up to now, Phu Giao district has 10 communes recognized as meeting new rural commune standards; of which, 7 have achieved and maintained the newly improved rural commune criteria including Tan Long, Tan Hiep, An Linh, An Thai, Phuoc Sang, Vinh Hoa, and An Long. The three communes of Phuoc Hoa, An Binh and Tam Lap are determined to complete the newly enhanced rural commune by the end of 2023.

Total resources for building new rural areas in Phu Giao district in the first 6 months of 2023 reached more than VND 196 billion 846 million, of which, the investment budget for construction reached more than VND 41 billion 320 million. Credit capital reached VND 82 billion 760 million. Enterprise capital is more than VND 41 billion 150 million and people's contributed capital more than VND 31 billion 610 million.
