Dau Tieng district’s Mobilization Board for the Fund for the Poor forwarded a conference to sum up the 10-year implementation of “the Fund for the Poor” campaign.

 

Over the past 10 years, Dau Tieng district’s Mobilization Board for the Fund for the Poor mobilized more than VND2.55mln to build and upgrade 41 unity houses worth VND288mln, give VND27mln for children enjoying heart surgeries, visit and present gifts worth over VND311mln to poor households and civil servants. Its affiliates in communes and wards mobilized over VND1.88bln that was used to build and upgrade 169 unity houses, visit and offer gifts worth over 1.4bln for needy households. Also during the time, the central and provincial Funds for the Poor gave support to Dau Tieng district in building and handing over 226 unity houses worth VND1.717bln to the poor.

 

On this occasion, chairman of Dau Tieng district’s People’s Committee also awarded the certificates of merit to 8 collectives and 13 individuals for their excellent performance in the “the Fund for the Poor” campaign over the past 10 years.
