Established in 1995, P&G Vietnam Co. has built two factories in southern Binh Duong province. The company has so far been one of the three companies manufacturing customer goods with the fastest growth in Vietnam. P& G Vietnam Co. has just held a grand ceremony to mark its 15th anniversary. At the ceremony, Omar Channawi, General Director of P&G Vietname Co. said: “This event has affirmed the company’s pledge making contributions to Vietnam’s long-term economic development. The company will further research and develop new products to best meet Vietnam customers’ demand….”

Speaking at the ceremony to mark the company’s 15th anniversary and inaugurate its second factory in Binh Duong province, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee Le Thanh Cung said that during the past 15 years, P&G Vietnam Co. has constantly developed and expanded production. It is also the first foreign-funded company in Binh Duong awarded the third-class Labor Medal…

P&G Vietnam Co. has actively got involved in social charity activities, including making environmental protection, supporting poor-but-excellent pupils, offering help to women with hard circumstances…

At the company’s ceremony receiving the third-class Labor Medal, Nguyen Hoang Son, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee said that the third-class Labor Medal was the high appreciation for the company’s continuous efforts and achievements over the past time. The company has maintained the annual growth, excellently fulfilled tax obligation, well realized regulations on environmental protection in production and policies for workers… The company has also actively taken part in such community activities as granting scholarships for poor-but-excellent pupils, building hygienic toilets and clean wells for schools, offering help to the lonely elderly and orphans…

With the above-mentioned efforts, P&G Vietnam Co. is one of the province’s positive units. The company has not only fulfilled the set targets in production and business, but also well realized its social responsibility. The company is also one of the typical businesses in activities and movements of the trade union in the foreign-invested business bloc in the province.
