People’s Council deputies should be aware of their responsibility
On Aug. 6, the provincial People’s Council in cooperation with the Training Centre for Elected Representatives under Committee for Deputy Affairs of the National Assembly Standing Committee held a conference on training for elected representatives at district, town and municipal levels for the 2011-2016 term. Pham Van Canh, vice secretary of the provincial party committee cum chairman of the provincial People’s Council chaired the conference.
At the conference, deputies heard about 3 topics of role of People’s Council deputies for local socio-economic development, skills of managing conference and People’s Council meetings, inspection of basic construction investment projects.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Pham Van Canh stressed that participants would be aware more of their responsibility on local socio-economic development, role on improving quality and efficiency of People’s Council meetings and acceleration on inspection efficiency of basic construction investment projects.
The conference helped participants share shortcomings and draw experiences for better ways.
