Phu Giao holds 6th voluntary blood donation stages of 2020

Early August 25, Phu Giao district’s Steering Board of Humanitarian Blood Donation coordinated with HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center to organize its 6^th voluntary blood stage of 2020.

The stage absorbed nearly 300 officials, civil servants and locals with 281 units of blood, equivalent to 98,350 milliliters of blood given. All the blood amount will be transferred to the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center for medical treatment if necessary.

It is known that after organizing 6 voluntary blood stages, the Steering Board collected 2,000 units of blood, equivalent to 700,000 milliliters of blood or 114.2% of the year’s target.
