Phu Giao’s Women’s Union actively supports members in economic development

Over the past nine months, Phu Giao district’s Women’s Union considered and disbursed VND6.995billion in loan for 2,651 women to develop home based business; effectively maintained 141 loan-rotating groups with more than VND3.22billion, helping 1,846 women; mobilized 248 well-off women to offer help to 412 needy ones via many forms with a total value of more than VND378million.

The district’s Women’s Union also worked with relevant agencies to organize 9 vocational training courses for 198 women; teamed up with the local Youth Union to organize jobs on sewing shoes on contract for 58 women in An Linh and An Thai communes with the daily income of VND100,000 per person…
