Leaders of Phu Giao district, on January 22, held a delegation to visit, extend Tet greetings and offer 300 gifts worth VND500,000 each to the local policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors.

At the visiting places, the delegation extended best regards to the local policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors; encouraged them to rise up in life and become bright examples for generations to follow while wishing them a happy New Year.

The same day, the delegation also visited and presented 500 Tet gifts worth VND300,000 each to poor people. It is known that all the above Tet gifts were mobilized from donors and extracted from the district’s State budget.

*Late January 22, the Red Cross Society of Phu Giao district’s Phuoc Hoa commune presented 251 Tet gifts worth VND300,000 each, comprising of confectionary, fish sauce, cooking oil, seasoning powder…, to poor households.

All the above Tet gifts have a total value of VND74.3mln, funded by donors. Among them, 85 worth more than VND21.25mln came from Le Thi Suong residing in Phuoc Hoa commune’s hamlet 1A; 50 worth VND12.5mln from the family of Nguyen Huu Van residing in Phuoc Hoa commune’s hamlet 1A; 30 from the family of Duong Van Khen residing in Phuoc Hoa commune’s hamlet 1A…

Through the Fatherland Front committee of Phuoc Hoa commune, Le Thi Suong and many other donors offered 50 Tet gifts to needy households. They also donated VND3mln in cash to 10 extremely difficult cases.
