Pink journey for social welfare, environmental protection

Provincial Youth Union has instructed its branches to implement the “Pink journey for social welfare, environmental protection” campaign 2017 among young workers in the peak month of July. The campaign will uphold the voluntary spirit of young workers, making contributions to the cause of national construction and defence.

Forces taking part in the “Pink journey for social welfare, environmental protection” campaign are young workers, members of the Clubs “connecting young workers” and sub-unions for young workers and proprietors of lodging facilities crowded with young workers. In response to the campaign, provincial Support Center for Young Workers has set up youth volunteer squads on traffic safety, law dissemination, “for beloved young generation”…

After being established, these youth volunteer squads have ardently responded to the campaign by practical activities such as launching to plant green trees at the center and Ngoi Sao Nho preschool; visiting and presenting gifts to young workers with difficult circumstances at the My Phuoc 1 industrial park in Ben Cat town; making environmental hygiene on DA7 and NA7 streets at the My Phuoc 3 industrial park; organizing summer classes for the offspring of young workers; realizing dissemination of information about the Law on Road Traffic; holding “paying debt of gratitude” activities…

Do Van Phung, Director of provincial Support Center for Young Workers said that the center’s youth volunteer squads will take part in the “Journey connecting young workers” program with social charity activities; hold delegations to visit, offer gifts to orphans, policy beneficiary families and open charity classes for needy children.

During the campaign, the local Youth Union and association branches will also mobilize proprietors of lodging facilities and young workers to make environmental hygiene, ensuring a clean, beautiful and civilized living environment.

Many activities at provincial level will be organized during the campaign, including launching a volunteer blood donation program themed “Pink drop of blood-sharing love” with a goal of collecting at least 1,000 units of blood…; handing over a “dream” apartment to a needy youth; setting up a youth model lodging facility…Through its practical activities, the campaign will create a volunteer environment among young workers; continue effectively implementing a task of uniting and gathering young workers, building a strong Youth Union organization.
