PPC’s Chairman Tran Van Nam: Dau Tieng district socio-economic condition to change remarkably 

On Oct 7^th, provincial delegation led by Tran Van Nam, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, had a meeting with Dau Tieng district on 9-month’s socio-economic condition in 2015.

In 9 months, total production value of the district was estimated at over VND1,907 billion, making up 73.22% target and increasing 11.36% year-on-year. Industrial production and construction value gained the highest growth, reached more than VND680 billion, increasing 17.5% year-on-year; agricultural production value reached more than VND589 billion. New rural construction of the district also had many obvious changes. Dau Tieng district currently has 4/11 communes meeting new rural standards, the remaining communes met more than 15 criteria; the number of poor households decreased significantly...

Defense – security condition in the district was secured; inspection, judicial, law enforcement activities were taken seriously.

Speaking at the meeting, Tran Van Nam said, Dau Tieng district had completed many key tasks in the first 9 months, local socio-economic condition and people’s life had had many positive changes. Mr. Nam also stressed, district leaders should pay more attention to handling remaining issues; reviewing planning to utilize local advantages and potentialities; stabilizing people’s life as rubber latex’s price was falling down; focusing on the essence of new rural construction program…
