Practical activities take care of workers

As planned, the 10^th provincial Workers’ Month and Workers’ Week 2017 will take place with significant programs for young workers at industrial parks and lodging facilities, contributing to improving their spiritual and material lives.

Accordingly, a program “Accompanying workers 247” will be organized at Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park in Thuan An town on May 8, with many practical activities, including an art performance, a lucky draw, gifts for young workers with difficult circumstances…

The 3^rd provincial program “Giving strength to young workers and lighting dreams of young workers” 2017 will also take place at provincial Support Center for Young Workers with such practical activities as presenting gifts to young workers with difficult circumstances; organizing a market-day selling goods at basic prices; providing free medical check-ups, medicine for young workers; giving consultancy on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance; honoring outstanding young workers and organizing an exchange with them. The program will be implemented by localities with numerous young workers, namely Di An, Thuan An, Tan Uyen, Ben Cat towns and TDM city, to give strength to young workers.

Many other meaningful programs will be also held at provincial Support Center for Young Workers in May. They comprise of a job festival for young workers, a talk show on international integration, a forum “Arousing passion on business start-up among youths”, an art performance…

Additionally, provincial Youth Union will coordinate with relevant units to organize a “Joyful Sunday” program with substantial activities, including organizing a talk show on traffic culture; making dissemination of information against diseases; hold a consultancy show on reproductive health, marriage-family; providing free medical check-ups and medicine…Provincial Youth Union will also continue mobilizing organizations and individuals to set up one more model youth lodging facility, give a “dream” room together with gifts for needy young workers at lodging facilities, social housing areas in the province.

In May, TDM city’s Youth Union will host a musical competition “Resounding streets”. Provincial Youth Union will also instruct its branches at district and grassroots levels to organize at least one cultural-sports program for young workers…
