*Get-together on Vietnam Women’s Day held in Binh Duong Daily

 Di An district’s Women’s Union held a ceremony to sum up and present prizes to winners of a writing contest on Vietnamese women over the past 80 years (photo).

 The contest was launched from April 30 to September 2 and received 4,500 entries from the local Women’s Unions’ officials and members. Finally, first prize for the best team went to Binh Thang commune. Le Minh Thu in Di An district’s Tan Dong Hiep commune won first prize for the best individual.

 *Late Oct.20, Binh Duong Daily’s Trade Union organized a get-together on the occasion of Vietnam Women’s Day. This event aimed to review the tradition of the Women’s Union and remind the unit’s women to strive to well realize their entrusted missions and build happy families.

 On this occasion, Binh Duong Daily’s Trade Union also called for assistance for flood-hit people in the central region. This appeal was enthusiastically responded by the unit’s women.
