Processing, manufacturing industries absorb over US$2.37billion in FDI capital

In 2017, the province’s processing, manufacturing industries last year lured 170 newly-registered FDI projects, 29 extra-ones…with a total investment capital of more than US$2.37billion or 84.7% of total FDI capital flowing into the province.

Taiwan also took the lead among 40 countries and territories making investment in the province with US$696.8million, followed by Singapore with US$605.3million and South Korea with US$375.6million.

As of now, Taiwan has led foreign investors in the province with 775 projects capitalized at over US$5.88million, followed by Japan with 250 projects worth more than US$5.26billion and Singapore with 163 projects totaling over US$2.77million.
