Promoting propaganda, education among the youth

Provincial Youth Union specified that propaganda was one important task, thus has actively performed propaganda and set up communication channels, contributing to youth education, promoting Union movements and actitivities.

Building up team and communication channels

According to Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of provincial Youth Union, the Union usually organizes quarterly training conferences for collaborators, propagandists to provide professional training, cultivate skills for their staff. Provincial Youth Union has also developed key forces to update actual situation and thoughts of the youth; coordinates with local mass media to carry out well educational propaganda.

Simultaneously, the Union has devised plans to renovate contents and forms of Youth Union’s information channels on Binh Duong Newspaper, Binh Duong Radio – Television, youth radio programs at localities and schools across the province. The official website of provincial Youth Union is frequently renewed to be more lively, attracts daily more than 4,000 hits.

Commending excellent individuals in youth propaganda.

In particular, implementing Central Youth Union’s Directive 03-CT / TWDTN-BTG regarding encouraging youngsters to write news, articles for Union’s press, provincial Youth Union and braches have established communication channels on social network networks for timely activities monitoring and propagating. These channels have become a linkage, a place to share information in order for Youth Union at all levels to perform tasks, organize diverse activities, implement new effective models.

Turning towards youth workers

Binh Duong Newspaper and provincial Youth Union cooperated to implement the program of giving Binh Duong newspaper weekly to youth workers. Tan Uyen town Youth Confederation has responded actively to help this program in delivering timely Binh Duong newspapers to youth workers in lodging houses at weekends. By now, Tan Uyen town Youth Confederation has delivered 2,000 free newspapers to local Union branches and lodging houses. This has brought more useful information on the newspaper to youth members and workers, improved youth’s awareness of law compliance, built up reading habit among the youth.

Provincial Business bloc’s Youth Union has also focused on propaganda and education for the youth, coordinated with relevant organizations, businesses to arrange sessions of health, legal consultation. In addition, the Union established Political security squad of business bloc gathering heads of youth worker Union branches to inform timely about situations at industrial zones, crimes... to give appropriate propaganda.

Mr. Do Thanh Phuong, Secretary of Binh Chuan ward Youth Union (Thuan An town) said: “To strengthen propaganda among youth workers, apart from youth newsletter at lodging houses, delivering Binh Duong newspapers every Saturday, we set up 32 bookshelves for young workers to learn and follow uncle Ho’s teaching; better themselves, put more effort to work, learn, and join hands to consolidate working class in the industrialization and modernization era”.
