Province excels at protecting, caring for officials' health

Early August 21, Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee welcomed a delegation from the Central Committee for the Protection and Care of Officials' Health, led by Dr. Tran Huy Dung, Permanent Deputy Head of the Committee. The delegation visited and worked with provincial Party Committee.

An overview of the meeting between the Central Committee for the Protection and Care of Officials' Health and Binh Duong provincial Party Committee

In the first six months of 2024, along with investment in infrastructure and medical equipment, provincial Committee for the Protection and Care of Officials' Health effectively implemented policies and regimes for officials at central and local levels. Notably, the committee ensured the protection and care of the health of former State President and his spouse as well as senior officials managed by the Politburo and the Secretariat.

At the meeting, provincial Committee for the Protection and Care of Officials' Health proposed the delegation to consider allowing the committee to directly appoint contractors or place orders with reputable medical units to ensure annual health check-up packages for officials. The Central Committee for the Protection and Care of Officials' Health was also asked to provide recommendations to the Ministry of Health and relevant ministries to continue supporting and resolving difficulties related to regulations on bidding, procurement of medical equipment and supplies.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Tran Huy Dung acknowledged and spoke highly of Binh Duong’s efforts in protecting and caring for the health of senior officials and provincial officials. He expressed his hope that in the coming period, the province will further   uphold its achievements, enhance the application of information technology and improve the quality of life for officials whose health needs to be protected and cared for.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Nguyen Minh Thuy, member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee's Organization Commission took note of the delegation's opinions regarding the protection and care of provincial and senior officials' health.
