Province intensifies measures against dengue fever

Accordingly, provincial Deparment of Health will help provincial People’s Committee to define areas at high risk of dengue fever for drastic measures, ensuring resources for prevention of the disease; tighen control over the development of dengue fever to opportunely deal with disease outbreaks.

The Department will also instruct medical facilities to be ready to give first-aid and treatment for case contacted dengue fever; organize tranining courses on supervision, treatment and measures against the disease in the community; set up inter-sectoral inspection delegations to support localities to solve difficulties for timely instruction; taken anti-dengue fever measures at high degree to oppotunely prevent the spread of the disease.

In addition, provincial Department of Information and Communications will conduct the mass media to team up with the local medical care sector to speed up dissemination of information about anti-dengue fever measures. The local People’s Committees at all levels and mass organizations will also mobilize all people to jointly take measures against dengue fever in a synchronous way, especially in high-risk areas for the disease.
